Who we are
Our Inspiration
It all began with our son getting married in May 2022. He and his wife had a beautiful wedding in Long Lake, WI. It was a peaceful celebration complete with a woodsy and whimsical lodge reception that featured vintage mismatched dishes and glassware. The table setting was also adorned with candles and various vases filled with beautiful and vibrant flowers!
Crafting Memories
Our daughter then got married in May 2023. This time the wedding was in Pennsylvania at a beautiful restored farm venue complete with a gorgeous mountain landscape. We were inspired by our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding but wanted something a little different. What we did know was that we would want to have mismatched dishes and glassware, and we knew right where to start! We looked at the collection that was already started by our daughter-in-law’s family. It became fun to add to this and also for our daughter to find her unique designs and colors. Looking for vintage and thrifted dishes became a fun hobby that also served as an outlet for our family to decompress from the stress of planning a wedding.
The wedding was a dream come true for our daughter who wanted an outdoor reception that was a garden party theme with pastel color themes complete with elaborately strung lights. The tables were gorgeous with mismatched plates, water goblets, and champagne flutes.
Building Traditions
After our daughter’s wedding, my husband and I found ourselves still hunting for pieces when in thrift stores or online! It is a fun way to create a unique collection.
